Hammerzone    I don't know who these Michiganders are, but I'm partial to Michiganders, being one myself. They have great photos and they don't whitewash reality. You'll see how mistakes are made and how to deal with real world situations and they have a sense of humor. Check out their set of links - some good stuff there.
That Home Site    This is a set of forums where you can find great advice. Most of the forums are monitored by professionals who just like to help people out. Please use the forum's search before asking your question so the people giving advice don't have to answer the same questions over and over again. I submitted an idea to the site owners that they somehow hold a vote for the best advice givers and offer prizes, like gift certificates from sponsors. Afterall, the regular advice givers, who are pros, create site's value. I never heard back.
Taunton Press    This company puts out Fine Homebuilding and Fine Woodworking magazines, among others. Their website has lots of info and videos.
This Old House    I like the show and I used to like the website, which has now grown too commercial for me. If you can stand the ads, check it out.
Google    There's always Google. (And I thought the IPO was overvalued at 80. Story of my investing.)
